I am a licensed therapist and mentor. Through countless first-hand examples and years of personal practice, I discovered that our most difficult circumstances and our greatest challenges hold the key to our healing and unfolding. For over ten years, I have helped clients transform, open and heal. My work is a friendly invitation to come back to center and discover who you are. Through pointed questions, skillful conversations and guided explorations in workshops, groups, private sessions and satsang, I help my clients disentangle, heal and integrate unresolved pain and shed outgrown positions while guiding them back to Wholeness.
I work with a varied clientele on many therapeutic & psycho-spiritual goals, in a personalized, dynamic and compassionate way. I can help you navigate through difficult transitions & emotions, get unstuck, and deal effectively with anger, anxiety, grief & unresolved traumas. The journey is in living life wide open, intimately and fearlessly.
My goal is to help my clients discover what they long for, investigate what they wish to be free off & transcend what keeps them bound. I am the author of "Beyond The Storm: A Guide to Emotional Freedom and the Peace that is Always Already Here"  http://ilsacomte.com/Offerings.html

In this episode Paul and I talk about our personal journeys with anxiety along with thoughts on therapy and medication.  Furthurmore we discuss emotional causes of anxiety and emotional release.  We also discuss diet, exercise, socialization, and CBT/inquiry.

From Paul's site:

AnxietyGuru.Net is a blog and podcast born out of my desire to help those that struggle with anxiety, panic and depression.  It’s my sincere attempt to reach people that feel lost in their anxiety, hopeless about recovery and are simply confused about what’s happening to them. For over 10 years I lived with general anxiety disorder.  In the past I was panicked, depressed and consumed with fear about the future. I know what you’re going through.  I didn’t learn about this from someone else or do some kind of really interesting doctoral dissertation.  This is my life.  Who I am.  What I know.  Being the over analytical person that I am led me to study my former condition. I’ve tried to not only understand anxiety disorders from an empirical perspective but I have also contemplated all possible modes of coping with them and I want to share what I know with you.  This site is part self help guide, part information source and a look into how someone beat anxiety.

In this episode I talked with self development blogger Simona Rich.  You can tell from Simona's confident tone that her wisdom is born from experience.  Simona and I talk about how to wake up from the slumber of mediocrity, drudgery, and suffering.  We also discuss how meditation can process emotions and memories.  Last, Simona gives me a nice reminder that you cannot force people to change, you can only be there for people who are open and ready.  There are a lot of great resources on her site.  See Below.

Yoga and meditation instructor Scott Holtzman and I begin by talking about why we benefit from being passionate and joyful, getting in touch with what makes us want to serve the most.  We talk about resistance to following joy, serving others, and the games the ego plays regarding what we "should" do.  From there we talk about letting go of old patterns and facing fears on the spiritual path.  How to determine what our true self wants and what our ego wants.  How to release negative energy, emotions, and anxiety.  Working with subtle energy and fear as your consciousnessevolves.  Allowing yourself to be wherever you are at on the path.  Being a man and allowing emotions.  Being authentic despite cultural conditioning.  The genius of the selfie generation.

In this interview, I talk to Jamie about the human journey.  We talk about why we are on this earth and how to connect with the divine.  I agree with Jamie that depression can be caused by a lack of connection with joy and love. Because I find it so important, prayer/meditation, gratitude practices, personal passions, and social conections built into the workbook of The Mastery Of Change.

Hi, I'm Sean Morgan;) My mission in life is to give hope to people who are looking for it. In the past, I've worked with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, depersonalization, and extreme illness. I was hospitalized and medicated as a teen for panic disorder. The medication made things worse and I found wellness through healthy lifestyle choices.

In my twenties I suffered from chronic Lyme disease and depression. It put me on a journey to discover as many healing practices as possible for my body and mind. It was only through the destruction of a precious relationship with my fiance that I finally conquered my mental illness. I'm happy to say now that I'm healthy in body and mind (and I got the girl back:). As soon as I realized that I was 100 percent responsible for my own thoughts, emotions, and circumstances, I was cured. To learn more go to http://www.MasteryOfChange.com
